Hower Impact quoted in Trellis article on fractional CSOs
This week, I was quoted in Ellen Weinreb’s piece in Trellis called “5 reasons to hire a fractional CSO.” This article explores the emerging phenomenon of fractional sustainability professionals as an effective and high-value solution for meeting increasing demands for companies to advance corporate sustainability.
In the story, Ellen covers some of the benefits of hiring a fractional sustainability professional, including helping to kickstart sustainability programs, securing the expertise of senior professionals, getting the services you need with out all the overhead of traditional agencies and consultancies and more.
I told Ellen: “Today’s rapidly evolving corporate sustainability landscape is creating a huge demand for skilled and experienced professionals who can fill gaps of capacity and expertise for everything from strategy to goal-setting to reporting and communication.”
As a sustainability professional who offers fractional services to sustainability-minded companies, it’s great to see solid coverage in the media so that more companies understand that we are now our own category — and a much-needed one to boot.
